In our home, we use a combination of electric and regular toothbrushes. We have two Oral B Electric Toothbrush, while not energy wise, they have definitely saved us money on dental bills since we started using them. The only problem is the cost of purchasing electric Oral B Replacement Toothbrush Heads

I decided that instead of replacing them every 3-6 months, we would sterilize our toothbrushes every month. This has worked wonders, and frankly costs very little to do.

The process is so easy:

  1. Pour 1/4 cup of Swan Hydrogen Peroxide Antiseptic Topical Solution, 16 Fluid Ounce into a dish.
  2. Place toothbrushes in, heads down.
  3. Watch them fizzle and get disinfected for about 15 minutes.
  4. Rinse each toothbrush in the hottest water from your tap for at least one minute.

We have been sterilizing our toothbrushes fr several years now and  have no problems. In fact, our teeth are better than ever.
